About Us
Sunshine & Violets provide great quality, handmade clothing for babies and children up to 6 years old.
Sunshine & Violets was created back in a sunny seaside town called Worthing in 2016 late Autumn, in my lounge!
It started when my daughter, then 6 months old kept nicking my dressing gown to cuddle with as it was soft and had a satin ribbon that she liked to twiddle. As the colder months were getting closer, I really wanted my dressing gown back!
So I went to my local fabric shop and found some gorgeous, super soft dimple fabric and some Violet coloured ribbon got the sewing machine out and created Violets very own comfort blanket! She loved it and I got my dressing gown back :D
A few family members & friends had asked me to make them some and suggested I start my very own business.
We started off making Comfort Blankets, Blankets and Bibs and as we've grown I ventured into clothing.
