Turnaround Time
At Sunshine & Violets, most of our items are handmade to order. Due to this fact, the average turn around time is up to 6 weeks from receipt of payment to dispatch of your order. To see our current TA please see the purple strip at the top of the page.
If the whole order contains ready to post items (RTP). Then your will be dispatched within 3-5 working days of placing the order.
If it is a mixture of RTP and made to order all items will be sent together at our current made to order TA time.
Returns & Exchange Policy
If you have ordered an item in the wrong size we will exchange the item/s for you. You, as the buyer, will be responsible for the additional postage charges back to me and for the exchanged size back to you. We ask that you contact us within 28 days of receiving your order, to inform us that you will be returning the item to be exchanged for a different size. The replacement item/s are subject to the current turnaround time and are subject to fabric stock.
If you would like to return your order because you have changed your mind or simply don't like the item in person. Please contact us within 28 days of receiving your order for a refund. Refund will be given once the order has been returned in its original condition.
In the unlikely event you receive a faulty item, we will replace the item at our own cost. If you receive the wrong order by mistake this will be corrected. Please contact us within 28 days of receiving the faulty item/wrong order to arrange a return and exchange or refund.
Please note: To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be in perfect, unused, unwashed and in the same condition. It must also be in the original packaging. Any items showing signs of use or washing, the item will not be replaced and will be returned to you.
We would also recommend that you return your items signed for/tracked delivery.
Washing Care: We recommend that you wash your items at no higher than 40 degrees and leave to air dry. If your Sunshine & Violets items are washed at a higher temperature or tumble dried to may result in shrinkage or fading. If this does occur, no refunds or exchanges will be given.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment, this should be received by you within 7-10 working days.
Shipping
Once complete, all items are dispatched via your chosen Royal Mail service at the time you ordered.
Lost Parcels
If you think your parcel is lost please contact me within in 28 days of the expected delivery date. Royal Mail expect a period of time to pass before your parcel is considered lost. If your item has still not arrived after this time your order will be replaced or refunded. Due to items being sized and children growing quickly the option to size up.
If it is found you have given us the wrong address, no refunds or replacements will be issued for orders.
Delayed Deliveries
Unfortunately, as we use a third party company to deliver your orders, delays are completely out of our control. If your order hasn't arrived by the date you needed it by i.e. Christmas, Easter etc. Then we ask that you return the order if it is unwanted and we will refund the order and additional postage for you. We ask that you provide us with a picture of your postage receipt so we can do this or if you would like to exchange it for a different item then we are happy to do so. However this will be subject to stock and our current turnaround time.

International Users
Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in, including the United States. Your personal information is also processed by staff and third party service providers and partners in these countries.

Klarna Payment Plan
In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment methods. Payment is to be made to Klarna.
- Pay in 30 days: The payment period is 30 days from shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service. You can find the complete terms and conditions for the markets where this payment method is available here: United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Switzerlandand the Netherlands.
- Financing: With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible instalments according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna. Further information regarding Slice It including terms and conditions and Standard European Consumer Credit Information you can find here for the markets where this payment method is available: Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmarkand Finland.
- Direct bank transfer: Available in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited directly after placement of your order.
- Direct Debit: Your account will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service or in case of a subscription in accordance with the timelines communicated. You will be notified about the date(s) by email.
- Card Payments: Available in Sweden, Germany and Austria. The amount will be reserved on your card and will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service. In case of a subscription the amount will be debited in accordance with the timelines communicated.
The payment methods Pay in 30 days, Slice It and direct debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement.
